Cookie policy

Effective: April 26, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Pruvstamp ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Pruvstamp website. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They let a site remember your actions and preferences (sign-in status, language, region) across pages and visits. We also use closely-related technologies — local storage, session storage, and short-lived authentication tokens — for the same purposes ; for simplicity this policy refers to all of them as "cookies".

The cookies we set

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function. They keep you signed in (Supabase auth session tokens), preserve a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge across page loads on the verify page, and carry the CSRF / request-id state needed for our API. These cookies are set automatically and cannot be disabled while you use the Service ; turning them off in your browser will prevent sign-in.

Affiliate attribution

When you arrive via a referral link (?ref=…), we set a first-party cookie that lasts 90 days so the originating affiliate gets credit if you sign up and subscribe later. The cookie stores only the affiliate's opaque referral code — no personal data about you, no cross-site tracking, no third-party network.

Functional preferences

We persist a small number of UI preferences (filter selections, dismissed banners) in browser local storage so the site remembers them between visits. These never leave your device.

Analytics and advertising

We do not run any third-party analytics, ad-network, or social-tracking pixels on Pruvstamp. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight, no TikTok Pixel. We may revisit this in the future ; if and when we do, we will update this policy and add a consent banner before any such cookies fire.

Mobile app

The Pruvstamp mobile app does not use HTTP cookies — it authenticates via signed JWT tokens stored in the OS secure enclave. The same data-minimization principles apply : no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs.

Managing cookies

You can review and delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari). Note that clearing the strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out of Pruvstamp and force you to authenticate again on your next visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced via the Service or email.
